I43 OR 41?? WITCH IS BEST?
 
Hello I willbe traveling to IL on Sunday. I will be comming from Wi.. I have the option to take 41 or 43 I will have to get off on 94 than exit to 294 because where I have to go is off of 294 witch is the best way to go? Please Advise thanks Driver

41 unless you enjoy running through downtown Milw.
43 is probably still under construction in spots. I rarely ran 43 through town.

Make real sure all your ducks are in a row if you take US 41. There is a scale house in IL and with the increase in truck traffic due to the toll increases they have been doing a lot of inspections.

I disagree, for several reasons:

1. I-43 is shorter than Hwy 41, when travelling from Green Bay to Milwaukee
2. The police tend to enforce traffic on Hwy 41 more. They started cracking down several months ago
3. There tends to be more traffic on Hwy 41, and if you hit rush hour in Milwaukee, you deal with I-94 more on the bypass than you do on I-43.
4. I have timed both several times, at different times of the day, and even with the construction, I-43 is always quicker and easier.

I too always ran thru town on 43
