cdl question
 

I am from Michigan and will be going to school in KY. Whose cdl test do i take Mi. or KY.

I live in NH and went to school in Mass. My permit was from NH and that's where I took my road test. Not sure how it works when your so far away from your home state.

You might have to take both writtn tests but the driving test may be valid in either state. I live in IN but took my test written and driving in Arkansas. then went home to transfer and had to take not only my. Cdl class A again but also my regular operators lic. test since I surrendered my other Lic. in Arkansas. I had to take airbrake, and combination vehicles as well but I think I got a new person because the other employees at the DMV said I only needed the Class A test. but no problem I passed them all anyway. It was frustrating though.
