your all just lazy azz truck drivers, I walk across the street to mickey dees and use the restroom if the truck stop is a mess and it could be 20 below zero , whats wrong with getting out of the 3 foot closet and get some fresh air and go for some exercise, unless you ate at the bad truck stop and can,t hold it in then sh!t yer pants hehehehehe, also if your not cleaned up afterward properly well you wil just keep sh!tin yer pants and will never get to drive, your all just too lazy, I try to get out as much as possible of my 3 foot closet with wheels..

syl77dar 10-16-2006 01:04 AM

love 2 walk, but in ice and no mickey dees?

we are not lazy, just practical! you are not a female! I love 2 walk and do it everyday as much as I possibly can! Anyway, I was in an ice storm just a couple of years ago where you could not walk across the parking lot and a port a pottie would have been very handy and nice! Thank God I had ice cleats, but the t/s bathroom was still nasty and disgusting!

I think a toilet spill would be the least of your problems if you crash your truck.

It would add on to the many problems you'd have already.

Douglas 10-16-2006 09:15 AM

Did you know you can get the HIV/AIDS virus from sitting on the toilet seat?!! Of course, it can be prevented. Just make sure you wait until the guy before you gets done before you sit down on the toilet seat.

Seriously though, I wouldn't want to carry a toilet in my truck. If the restroom is nasty, just put toilet paper down on the toilet seat before sitting down. And if all else fails, keep a couple of spare rolls of toilet paper in your truck in case you have to go on the side of the road or something.

LMAO

This thread is doing wonders for the image of truck drivers.

Douglas 10-16-2006 10:47 AM

Actually I was serious about keeping a roll of toilet paper somewhere in the cab just in case you did have to go on the side of the road in an emergency.

Bigmon 10-16-2006 02:57 PM

A beach chair with the center cut out works good on the side of the road. lol

10-16-2006 03:12 PM

I prefer a hospital bedpan.... 8) why anyone would consider crapping in their truck is beyond me. It would be the same as dumping in the middle of your bedroom at home.

Can't say I have any interest in dumping in my truck, but wonder how many naysayers have their toothbrush hanging above the sink in the bathroom at home.

Malaki86 10-16-2006 11:24 PM

If a 5 gallon bucket and a garbage bag is what you use for emergencies, no problem... It beats the time I had to pull off on the shoulder on the PA turnpike in a true emergency (stomach virus - you know the kind, coming out both ends with the same consistency).

But, if you're gonna go the bucket/bag approach, at least put it in a real garbage can when you're done. I stopped at the service plaza on I77 in Beckley, WV yesterday. When I was getting out of the truck, on the ground at where my feet would've landed was a nice, smashed, ripped open bag of sh*t. Literally.

The worst part? There was a garbage can about 60' in front of me on the curb.

Now THAT'S what gives truckers a bad name.

Malaki86 10-16-2006 11:28 PM

Ya - I know, I know, 2 replies in a row...

A few years back I saw in one of the truck stop magazines from T/A (I think) an article about the future of trucks. They had a sample of what Volvo was going to be offering soon.

Of course, it had more electronics (GPS navigation, video cameras, etc), but it also had a toilet/shower combo. Now this was in a stock 770/780 sleeper.

If you've been in a Volvo, you know how the bottom bunk is 'split', where you can open the dog box from the left or right. The right hand side was the toilet/shower combo. It all folded up or something, so it wasn't available to use when the bed was setup.

I could get by without the shower part, but damn, the toilet would be a great thing to have in those 'gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now' situations.

Why not try crapping out the window like that kid in the movie "Rat-Race" did?

 it has been proved that in your home there is the same ammount of airborn fecal matter in the bathroom as in any other room in the house. i have had to use my emergency crapper several times and will continue to in the future. 1500 feet in the rain, cold, no way. i also do tattoos on my self in same area, also prepare food and eat. i was a surgical tech in airforce. training didn't do much good when rescuing wounded in action tho. no way of sanitising area just do the best. my tractor is probably safer to eat in than most buffet eating establishments on the road. milk jug? nah i use gator ade jugs, bigger mouth. in usaf we had to sterlize containers that held everything from fresh water to feces using bleach then use it for drinking water and food.

Right on. My dad did and ate things in the Army during jungle training in Panama that I don't even want to think about.

For those who say civilized people don't sleep inches from their toilets? Plenty of people do in campers and small RV's.

Campers and RV's have seperate bathrooms, not a bucket with a Wal Mart bag in it.

You've obviously never camped in a pop up camper, VW Westfalia or a 13 foot Scamp.

I've camped in pop ups before, and they had a seperated bathroom.

But you are missing the point - truck driving is not camping.

Truck driving is truck driving and the runs is the runs.

What's the difference between a cowboy and a truck driver?

Who needs a toilet when there is a HHG truck nearby.

Skullitor 10-23-2006 04:19 PM

http://www.bumperdumper.com Hey Rev try this!

Uncle Booger will help you out!!! LMAO

swiftguy83 10-24-2006 08:26 AM

Why dont you just wear diapers? lol

rubberducky 10-24-2006 09:16 AM

seems to me that one of those extended sleeper trucks have enough room in them to have a custom bathroom like an rv would have installed. I would contact an rv dealership and see what that could do for you on a custom install.

Skullitor 10-24-2006 01:48 PM

I hear a lot of BED BUGGERS with those giant sleepers have full toilets and showers.

Showers, toilets, kitchens. I hear some have 2 car garages and a 1/2 bath off the foyer by the breakfast nook. ;)
