I just found out I do have a PC slot on my Mac. Don't know for sure what you do with it though. I am going over to the T-Mobile store to inquire about this. I hope since my apple airport at there hotspots maybe all I have to do is sign up for the $49.95 plan for everywhere service. I have cingular cell phone service but they say there card is not mac compatible. I bet t-mobile will say same! Thats what I get for being different. It will be awhile before I can spring for a pc laptop. I have never drove around to see what spots the mac will sniff out. I guess I should do that. It would help if I was a little more knowledgeable about this computer stuff. Any Mac users out there???I couldn't be the only one.

I just purchased a WIFI card and plan on using the truckstop Internet for the time being
My question is what is the best method of recharging my Laptop battery
Im thinking about using Inverter or ?
any help will be appreciated

An inverter is fine, however, make sure to have your inverter off or your latptop disconnected when you fire up the truck. Damage to the battery/laptop may result.

I use a H.P. "DV-1000" with "LIGHT SCRIBE" CD /DVD RW ect. Great machine.

Go to Radio Shack and check out "I GO" stuff". I got the "I GO Juice". You can charge any laptop with it. You can plug it into 110 volt or use 12 volt It has tips with it for any laptop. You can also power you portable CD player,I Pod, cell phone, although if you want to power,charge your cell phone you will have to also get the correct tip and another cable. You can charge and power sevaral things at the same time. It isn't especialy cheap but it is pretty versatile. You can get just the 12 volt setup or 110 or both(Juice) Lots of different options.

Some laptops will not charge from an inverter. There are 2 types of inverters, pure and modified sine wave. It won't hurt to try. Some chargers are real picky like battery chargers for cordless drills won't work.

You can buy a brand new Dell laptop for under $600. Nice machines, I have one.

I bought my laptop to replace my dying desktop. Because of that I spent some major money on it and got a real nice small, light, and mobile gaming machine.

I'll bet you play those games where you get to shoot everyone without reading them there rights. You say your an illegal from Mexico, BANG BANG. What, you forgot your license at home, BANG BANG... :lol:
