Question in driving record

I had a DWI in 1986.
Record is spotless since then. Not even a parking ticket in last 20 years.
How will this affect my ability to get a job once I get my CDL?

Nowadays, thats very true, at least 99.9% so. Alot of companies will overlook one as long as its older than 10 years.
