Swift's are bare bones INSIDE, Schneider's are FILTHY whenever I see them, and most CR Englands are lease and as such will cost you a fortune.

My 2007 Pete 379 is loaded inside AND out and I gave up NO money to drive it. In fact, I feel TMC has one of the best pay and home time packages out there today.

I agree with you goldie... TMC has a lot to offer. Only drawback to TMC for me is the tarping. I have yet to make up my mind as to whether or not I would rather tarp, drive nice equipment, and be home most weekends or drive a van and have a chance to do a lot of drop and hook and stay out more. Tarping is not bad on nice days, but when the heat and bad weather come around it can be a s.o.b. Thanks for the replies fellas!

USXpress by far had the nicest out of the companies I worked for. Volvos and Freightliners, no more then a couple of years old and all automatic transmissions. Clean nice trucks and when I was driving OTR, that was important to me since that truck was my home for a week or two at a time. All I have been in the last several months are day cabs, most are fairly old workhorses. I drive a late 90s (not sure, 97-99) Volvo day cab now, not bad for the local stuff but certainly NOT an OTR truck and not even an out of state truck. I like it though, looks pretty good inside out and drives good, I am only in it 8hrs a day so not too important to me as much as it was when I was OTR.

Steer clear of SNI. If you hire in there, you get whatever is available, and it's not pretty. Teams, and vetran driver's get the newer stuff. However, the next graduating class out of Carlisle OC will all get brand new Century auto's.

I wouldnt drive that red truck, did you not notice the 36 inch sleeper? they dont call em coffin sleepers for nothing.

Western Pays like CRAP..and there trucks aren't even new or that special.....

I met this total TOOL that runs for some company out of Nebraska called SUNRISE...The dude tried pitching me the line of how great his company is because after a 1yr or 2 you get a custom truck to your spec....BIG F-N DEAL they start at .28 CPM...And have a pay-scale like Werners...I can't show my custom truck to the bank in replacement of my W-2.....Oh yeah then this ASS-CLOWN asked me if I liked porn, and if I wanted to sit and watch one with him in the bunk of his custom T-600....He does not know how lucky he was not to be found beaten to death and stowed away under the bunk of his custom T-600......
