Default Am I going to have a hard time getting hired anywhere due to time I graduated?

I graduated truck driving school in 2006 and have only 6 months of experience right out of school. I know this will look bad, but will they require me to go through a refresher course or possibly take me on?

if you've been off the road more than a year you'll probably need a refresher. With only 6 months 6 years ago you might need the whole course again. It's an insurance thing.

Your best bet is to start contacting companies and ask. Good luck

I 2nd that. Unfortunately it's ultimately an insurance thing. You can be the best truck driver the world has ever seen but if insurance says no they need to go thru school again then that is what the companies have to go with.

I'll 3rd that. It's an insurance thing. Finding a place that will do a "refresher" will be difficult, read that very difficult. First place to start would be the school you graduated from.
