I found a topic, here on C.A.D. that was basically a blog of a driver's day-to-day experiences and read that. It really helped me to realize all that is involved in being an OTR trucker. That did not stop me from going to CDL school and getting my CDL, and learning the hard way that I don't really want to live in a truck. (I give TONS of credit to those who do live the trucker's life!) However, having the CDL did help me get a job with a different type of company --NOT OTR trucking, and not daily truck driving. So I am not at all sorry for the expense or the experience.
