I gotta side with Instigator here. Jacks are ALWAYS the truck driver's fault. Too fast (for conditions)... or too close. Downhill? Slow down before you top the hill, gear down. Ice? See it before you're ON it... slow down, and keep the tractor IN FRONT of the trailer. Expect 4-wheelers to do what they DO... and do what a professional does to avoid the problems.

A jack at 10 mph? ONLY on ice... and then, he shouldn't be OUT there!

I see more than my share of truck accidents EVERY week. And I get "cut off" just like everyone else! And I don't see MY truck EVER being jacked into a median or "rolled over" on a Nebraska plain!

same here, although i have been known to get out in the left to pass then whoever is in the right realizes who is passing him, he picks up speed, leaving me hanging in the left, you figure? I might be governed but i hate being heald up as much as the next driver, if i'm in the left it's to pass and i'll be out of your way asap
