Default advice for prospective oilfield drivers

I am new to the forum and would welcome input about getting a good driving job in the oilfields, perhaps North Dakota. I have just earned my CDL, so I do not have much experience to offer. But, I would be more than willing to go through some training with another driver to learn the ropes. I want to be able to work at least 70 hours per week.

I see on the job boards and websites that there are many jobs for hauling sand, water, crude oil, and other products in North Dakota.

Thank you for your input.

First.

1: You go get you a job working in the oilfield.

2: You train with as many people riding with you as is deemed necessary.

3: You work 80 to 100 hours a week.

4: You quit because you want a life and money just isn't worth working that hard for.

I spoke with someone in power fuels in north dakota ..orange text and they said 15 per hour for swamper and average around 70 hours a week

80 -100 hours ?

for those 70 hours at that rate I'd average about 1300 a week

Get ready to work. I put in an ungodly amount of hours every week and have for going on 4 years now. Every Thursday when I swing by the office and pick up my check it's very worth it though.
