I hope nobody came within 10,000 feet of crashing under your trailer and almost got killed dead or even worse.

Don't worry, by the time they get 78 paved it will already be falling apart again. I grew up in south jersey, there is one stretch of road that goes about... 30 miles, they started repaving it when I was about 11 or 12, and now 15 years later, they are just getting to the other end. Not even BS'n, true story, the road is Hooper Ave, from Rt 37 in Toms River where it starts, into Brick/Jackson Area where it ends near 70.

I met a guy some years ago who told me that his dad made a career out of one stretch of the New Jersey Turnpike. Apparently that is the only job he had ever worked and he retired at the same job.

Everything up there is unionized, so take that, add in the fact of the challenge of constant heavy traffic, plus the fact that the state of NJ hates to pay out money for anything, and if it does it does it slowly, you get a career out of repaving a stretch of road .

Actually NJ roads aren't really that bad, but I78 is one rough ride.

My strut tower was screwed by a giant pothole in NJ on the way to NYC a month ago.

I've seen some bad stuff in NE Pennsylvania, but stretches of Interstate in NJ take the cake for stupid construction techniques and neglect.

Last week I ran 219 down through PA which includes a couple miles on 86. My God man, I didn't think I was going to have a truck left after that stretch. Where does all the road tax money go???

BTW, where is New Jersey?
I try to stay outta there with my old smoker. Already got smoke tested in MD.
