well belpre, and others. otr sucked for him..not everyone i am glad that he is happy and wish him the best of luck. why persist on hating otr and the so called coolie carriers? what good does it do? just because he did not want to do otr and you don't want to does mean that noone can do it. i don't do otr exactly but i am gone two nights a week..and i love my job. but i do not think for one minute that it is for everyone or for noone. when will you get that through your captain morgan, cfm love affair ass of yours?

Heh heh......speaking of kids crying on shoulders...............

The GF is done with college now MackDog. She has her education, her career, and she ain't gonna wait much longer for a former coolie carrier driver to marry her and make some of her own little rug rats..........Better step up soon MackDog!

Just sayin'...................

She has been beating around the bush about that:roll:. She has been talking about us buying a house now that shes got a good job. Right out of college making 28.22/hr with full benefits. All the OT she can handle.

Another plus if we get marry i can get on her benefits. We will see.

Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,

Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

No, I am going in a different direction, I am now in Paramedic School, and will begin RN training fall of 2010. Local driving jobs are hard to find and I am getting the majority of my schooling paid for, so I thought I would take advantage of it. There is a huge shortage in many of the medical fields here, and the pay and benefits are just out of this world. I know the work is hard and the hours are long, but I will be 3 miles away from my house, not 3000, that makes a big difference.

My plan is to go back OTR in about 10 years after my kids fly the coop. I should be financially sound and can drive just for the enjoyment of it. Yes I know many of you here don't like OTR, but I did, I am the kind of person who likes to be out and on my own, and I loved traversing back and forth across this beautiful country of ours. This time I won't be driving for the money, just for the fun of it.

Hell Jed, I've already made it very clear to MackDog how I will handle his GF situation for him if he's in over his head.:smokin: Ya gotta know how to treat a lady. I'm thinkin that me 'n GMAN will squire her right over to Carney's Point hook for a romantic dinner. Catered by our very own favorite food service monkey Double R. Beverage service, of course, provided by golfhobo.........
