Default MVR and Expunged records Questions?

I'll try and get to the point as my typing skills lack. Is the source of an MVR going to be the same as ones own state record meaning Ive checked my driving record in my own state and was wondering if theres some other source the prospective employers/carriers checks that I'm unaware of/unable to check, not talking DAC-Ive checked that and it's clean. Also Ive had a DUI 27years ago and a driving on a suspended 17 years ago, both of which have been expunged from my states DMV records, Ive learned my lesson.

If these records don't show-up?, should I still be honest about it or act as if it never happened? Quickly,Ive been on vacation for two years, have had my CDL for 20+ years and it is active, medical is currant. Excuse me for being so newbish of this matter as I was a local mover for 29years and some of this has never been questioned, it's a young mans sport and time to move on, thanks.

Bill

If it has been expunged, it doesn't exist. If you want to find out for sure, go to your local police or sheriff's office and pay for a criminal background check.

I have, ended up at the DA's office in my county and they only show the suspension(misdemeanor) only, no DUI on record with the DA. None/Any of this is on my DMV driving record. Also checked with the Dept of Justice to make sure, I have no criminal history. The question still remains, be honest or ???

The whole point of an expunged record, is to wipe it off your criminal history background check. It remains on record ONLY with Law Enforcement and the Court. It is no longer public record.
So, take full advantage of that...it is your right. Consider yourself lucky, and don't shoot yourself in the foot.

If you work somewhere that gives you two years vacation why would you wanna quit?

Either that or "vacation" and "unemployment" are one and the same to you...

The man said he worked as a local mover for 29 years. It appears he is hoping to find a less physical driving job.

P.S. a local mover in the Bay area is no easy job...
all those hills and stairs.

Well, in that vein wouldn't a 2 year undocumented period of "vacation" be a cause of concern for a potential employer?

To some yes other no. I took a 7 year break, no employment and I been able to get jobs, so now I have 6 months current to add to the 4 years prior

Love the driving part, hating the stairs. Obviously you know something of the Bay Area. Ive done an extensive search of myself and the only thing that comes up is at the court and thats for the suspension 17 years ago, don't want to get caught in a lie and even hate lying knowing I cant get caught, thanks, I think I like this web site.
