Default Besides synthetic oil ?

Whats the best standard over the counter oil & filter to run?

Shell Rotella and Baldwin filters will not do you wrong. Spend the little bit of extra money and stick with a good oil / filter combo. Mobil Delvac or Amsoil work for synthetic oil. Baldwin make a solid filter.

i run lucas motor oil in my truck switched from shell rotella and my oil samples are alot cleaner now

My oldman who is a O/O will only use Rotella oil and CAT filters

I use to run Rotella T, but It seemed it would thin out too quickly. I have been useing Mobil Delvac now for the last six years and it seems to work well for me.
