i think i did about 3000 this week. i get paid by the load. some things are local in california, somethings go long distance. like now, this load went to VA from CA. then i did a short load from VA to MD. then i pick up a load in MD back to CA.
it helps having him with me comimg out here. i was on my own on the VA to MD load. i will be on my own from MD to CA.
we'll see how it goes. after all the stress i endured on the first load by my self, it has toughened me up enough to make it home without too much fear.

Sounds like you found a decent company. If I had any interest in long haul I would be asking you dozens of questions about who you drive for, but I am pretty happy where I am right now.

I wasn't trying to start anything in the other thread about pay. It just drives me nuts when someone tries to start a war because a newbie is making more than they are.
