I am glad to hear you are OK, Flood. We had sustained winds of up to 70-80 mph. We were told that a large tornado came over downtown Chattanooga. Fortunately, we live out of the direct path, but had a lot of wind. I believe we had a tornado come over our house. It sounded like a train coming over. We were all right, but some people on the other side of town had some damage. Fortunately, nothing such as you had in West Tennessee. Hopefully, you will at least get your power back shortly.

Damn, I am from Nashville born and raised for 22 years and forget how Powerful Those Tornadoes are And it seems early for them too! We get 70-80 mph winds outside Boulder CO but not damage like that. Don't miss them. I will take an avalanche over a tornado any day!

Thanks for your concern, Flood. It could have been a lot worse with your house. We had tornadoes on both sides of us, but got out unscathed. I think Cleveland and Benton, TN just north of us got hit pretty hard. I believe that the worst damage came from around Jackson.
