Check with Swift - they don't have daycabs out of that terminal any more, but they may need some assistance with local Florida deliveries in the area. I used to work in the shop at that terminal - good place to be.

Do you own a trailer by any chance, preferably a flat bed? If so, you might want to look in to the sod industry, i live about 50 miles south of you in Brooksville, i work for a company hauling sod 5 days a week, of course i'm a company driver so i just get hourly pay, but for a time we were paying O/O's to haul the sod up to our "yard", pay was 400 dollars per load, and these drivers were steady pulling 2 loads a day, seven days a week. If at all interested, or you think this might work for you, check out "Sod Mart", also in Brooksville, they rely solely on O/O's to haul their grass, not sure on their pay, or if this will even work for you, but just a thought.

I received something a while back from Commercial Carriers Corporation. They were looking for people in central Florida. I don't recall if they use owner operators or only have company positions.

GMAN, i worked for CCC, they do use O/O's at CTL in the Mulberry division, and i've also seen O/O's pulling dry bulk for CCC down around the Miami, homestead area. I don't know if the original poster of this message found work or what, he's never posted a reply to any of the responses thus far.

I didn't notice that he only posted one time. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Millersod.
