"Less than a dollar a day" and it saved you thousands? Really? Lets say it cost $300 dollars a year so that 3grand for 10 years. I've spent exactly $0.00 in that same time for legal fees and have peace of mind because I drive legal. IMHO it's a waste of money, you could find a lawyer and pay a speeding ticket once in that ten years for less than $3G.
