I used to run across 212 you always had to watch out for deer the occasional "$5000" horse, abandoned vehicles,and the occasional intoxicated person walking down the middelof the road.The horses out ther aren't worth anything until you hit one then they are worth $5000.

hey I live in washington, wow you sure theirs mountains around here, hehehehehehe, if you choose to go through wyoming expect to cross at least 6 mountain passes to get to seatle or uhhh maybe more.... the highest I have ever been was in wyoming at 9995 feet above sea level, I think it might snow their at least 8 months out of the year....most florida drivers I know only will go to LA so they like the I- 10 easy run... if you choose to come up through utah into southern Idaho expect snow and high winds like wyoming... snowchains are required in washington from nov 1st to april 30th, are they required in Florida?, I was in florida january of this year and it was 70 degrees at 9am....also be careful of the loggin trucks, they own the roads they say so be careful not to get in their way..

WHAT, yer going over Lolo pass, hehehehehe I can't believe you drive that road, I drove it this year and sure its nice pretty but the road going through the pass is about 4 feet wide and the 80 miles of curves top speed is about 25 miles per hour, stay on 90 all the way to seattle and get their 3 hours earlier, summer has way to much traffic, stick to the 90 all the way.. miles versus time, I rather save on time... besides all I ever saw was swift trucks coming from their lewiston yard over that pass heading to montana and they always wreck on that mountain and kill people, wow you like lolo pass for a 53 footer, hehehehehe wow ohh did I say 80 miles, the sign says sharp curves next 82 miles... hehehehehe go for it...try it at night in the rain and fog like I did hehehehehe was a blast..

He could take I-10 plumb over to Shakey Town,and jump on I-5 and run straight north to Warshinton. :P

yeah-If you happen to meet up with some logging trucks going in the same direction as you and they ask you to run with them Turn The Offer Down or you're gonna go for the ride of your Life :P

Hmm, I will be working side by side with loggers here soon on the "Golden Road" running through Millinocket Maine. Where if the loggers don't get you--the moose might 8) I have heard some horror stories about the "Golden Road/Highway" and the loggers.
Hmm, might be time to visit my neighbor? He runs his own logging rig.
He's been at it (logging)for 25 years plus.

I hope you realize that US 12 from Missoula to Lewiston is restricted for tractor-trailer combinations hauling 53' trailers in Idaho. You can be in serious hot water if you are caught running that road without special permits. It is a "red" road on the Idaho DOT approved truck route map iirc. That said, I have ran it before without knowing it was restricted, and was almost caught, but the bear got the truck behind me instead.
