Of the 6, 2 have told me that a 9 year old misdemeanor is unacceptable for them. They did say to apply again when 10 years have passed.
The misdemeanor was for Ulawful transaction with a minor.
Basically it is contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but termed different in KY.
All the other companies seem to be OK.
I did email the other companies and let them know about everything I had since I got a criminal record check back.
Had 2 misdemeanors in Ohio. Both dismissed. But they should know that already since they pulled a report from USIS...right?
I just wanted to make sure all bases are covered so I don't get sent home from orientation.

The way USIS works is they will only show offenses already found by a previous company on an extensive background search. Alot of times the regular USIS search wont bring alot of things up. I had a guy one time that had not told me that he had "aggravated assault on a child age: 10". I didn't see anything on his USIS, and he didn't list it on his app so I sent him in to orientation.
When he got to orientation, he started bragging about how he got into orientation with that on his record and I never caught it. Well he ended up bragging aloud in class. When word got to me, I sent him home. I dont put up with liars, and I don't hire people with aggravated charges. If he would have been honest with me, he could have saved us both alot of time.
