Hello to all

I have 13 years of trucking exp. and Im looking to become a freight agent for landstar. I have actually spoken with them myself, but they wont share any information on how the agents are paid. So my question is, how are the agents paid at landstar is it by percentage or is it 50/50 spit of the profits?

We were a landstar logistics agent

They should tell you up front what your split of the profit of the load is

Rail is 60/40 truck is 50/50

Be careful as they lure you in with a sales pitch of all these agents that will network with you

They are slow paying carriers and if you want to get your commission paid faster then 30 days which is really 45 days they will want a percentage
