Hello

I'm a relatively new trucker's wife. We've been married for a little over a year. He is doing loooooong haul... Out for 3-5 weeks, home for 3-5 days.
I'm not working right now, stay at home wife with 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a fish.
So, yeah, guess I wanted to say hi?

Welcome to the forum. It can be challenging being at home when your spouse in on the road for extended periods of time.

Hi and welcome :) My husband is typically gone for weeks at a time as well; When he started back in 2006 I was working FT, then got laid off, and wasn't working for a short time, but that made the 'in between days' much longer, so went to PT work at least; I found that keeping BUSY does help, either at work or with the animals (we have horses, dogs and cats), I even started my own horse training business for a time; I am now working FT again and it does keep me somewhat sane, lol. You could also do volunteer work someplace, or maybe get involved with a church; something else I did a few times was go OTR WITH him, I was able to see firsthand what its like out there for him, plus I learned a lot about my OWN driving habits by watching how others drive around the bigrigs; you will see a lot of cool places as well, meet different people, etc. No doubt trucking is tough on a marriage/relationships, these are just a few things that have helped me out along the way, good luck to you ;)
