Medical Insurance Option
 
Good medical insurance is pretty darn hard to find and usually cost prohibitive for most independents and O/O's. If you have or can get a good group plan that is cost effective, great. For those of us that have to shop on our own, the options don't look good.

I happened upon the National Association for the Self Employed. www.nase.org

These guys have great group medical insurance coverage at decent prices. I got a real full coverage medical plan with $5 million lifetime payout for me, 51 and a smoker, and my wife, who has continuing thyroid issues, for about $693 a month. Not no "indemnity" or limited coverage plan either.... real full coverage medical PPO plan for the individual and family.
