Let's do Michael Jackson - is he a child molester?

Even though I like most of his music, I was sure Michael Jackson was guilty of child molestation....
UNTIL
I watched Geraldo Rivera's interview with him. Now I'm not so sure. Michael seemed almost human in the interview....

Maybe Michael's just a bizarre but innocent individual. What do you think?

hardluck 02-07-2005 02:45 AM

WHO PAYS A $25.000.000.00 OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENT WHEN YOUR INNOCENT. AND IF HE GETS THE CHANCE AGAIN HE WOULD PAY IT

excav8or 02-07-2005 04:13 AM

The man (and I use tat term very loosely here) ain't carring a full load in his crainium. Look at what he's done to his own body, and what he's done to his own kids. He should have gone to jail for child abuse after the "Balcony incident" with his son. He is a very sick and twisted individual. He will probably not get convicted, he's got big money. He will have to face his Creator eventually, and no amount of money will buy his way out of that court.

Uturn2001 02-07-2005 04:21 AM

I really do not know if he is or is not.

That he has some real issues is not debatable, but whether or not he has actually abused a child or children I do not know.

One question I do have though. After the allegations of this a few years ago, which were highly reported on, did the parents of the current "victim" allow their son to spend time with Jacko?

dodgeman 02-07-2005 10:28 AM

Here's this guy, 43 years old at the time, who admits to sleeping in the same bed with a 13 year old boy and recalls that it was "a beautiful thing". I don't care whatever else he may say or what a judge or a jury may say - there is something fundamentally wrong with him.

littleman2 02-07-2005 03:24 PM

Well lets just ask this question if you had or have kids would you let WACKO JACKO watch them for the weekend? or would you have doubts about their safety?

yoopr 02-07-2005 04:33 PM

i'm a strict constitutionalist-Innocent til found guilty even though he is a creep the constitution even pertains to him.

dodgeman 02-07-2005 05:07 PM

Well, the topic didn't specify for a legal finding or a matter of opinion. Having said that, I agree with yoopr if we talking legal. Littleman, I agree with you if we're looking for opinions.

littleman2 02-07-2005 05:59 PM

hey I am all for the legal system Innocent till proven guilty. But I would not want him baby sitting my kids.

Maybe they were looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

professional drivers; MJ has issues; not problems; issues!! I have seen him since I was a kid; followed his and the Jackson 5 career. Like me others; enjoyed the music. On the other side of the fence all of MJ's oats are not in his feedbag. Current events; dangling baby over hotel balcony; vales on little ones.. Sleeping with young boys in the same bed....hmmm!!  Is he guilty of child molestation; absolutely! :P :P
Last time a charge like this came round he paid hush money. If one is innocent why does one pay hush money??  Hmmmm!! He's guilty but it will probably go away his money and a high priced defense team.  Remember OJ???   Hmmmm!! Go safely; see you on the big road!

kreeper01 02-09-2005 03:14 PM

The punk should be strung up by his nads and raped himself.

Uturn2001 02-09-2005 04:37 PM

The thing with Jacko is that he is so screwed up psychologocally that anything is possible.

It is not outside the realm of possiblity that to him having those kids over was nothing more sinister than a pajama party between 6 year olds and all of this is nothing more than an attempt by the parents to get in on the cash cow, though by the time this trail is over the only ones who are going to have any money at all will be the laywers.

I will wait until all the evidence from the prosecution is in and the defense has made its case to try to figure out if he is really guilty or not.

Goose1 02-09-2005 07:12 PM

It sure seems like he might be but as addled as his mind is, who could tell. that guy never had a childhood.. building an amusement park for kids seems like an extreme way to lure little kids. I'm not so sure he's not just trying to have a happy childhood at 43..but having said that would I leave my kids with him..Not Bloody likely!
You see when you can't trust a Priest, Then you sure as heck shouldn't trust a singer.

Uturn2001 02-09-2005 11:09 PM

If nothing else who would leave their 5 year old to be baby sat by a 6 year old.

02-10-2005 07:06 PM

he is one twisted person,....
I bet he done something wrong

and I bet he gets away with it :x

and wasnt he having money problems in the past year or so?

dtrain 02-12-2005 06:03 AM

MJ Guilty??? Hmmmm!!

If MJ doesn't have enough problems; add this little piece of information. I think before he case goes to trial there are going to be a lot more skeletons falling out of his diseased closet.

Corey Feldman subpoenaed in Jackson case
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Corey Feldman, befriended by Michael Jackson when he was a rising child actor, has been subpoenaed to testify during the pop star's child molestation trial, Feldman's manager said Friday
.

Feldman was subpoenaed by the Santa Barbara County district attorney's office "sometime last week," Scott Carlson said.

The district attorney's office had no immediate comment due to a judge-imposed gag order.

Feldman, 33, who recently spoke with ABC's "20/20," was not on the prosecution's original witness list, a source familiar with the investigation said.

In the "20/20" interview, which airs Friday night, Feldman said he began rethinking his relationship with Jackson because of the case.

"I started looking at each piece of information, and with that came this sickening realization that there have been many occurrences in my life and in my relationship to Michael that have created a question of doubt," Feldman said, according to excerpts.

Feldman, who was a young teenager when he became friends with Jackson, said the pop star never molested him or touched him inappropriately.

But he said Jackson did do some things that he now feels were inappropriate.

"If you consider it inappropriate for a man to look at a book of naked pictures with a child that's 13 or 14 years old -- then your answer would be 'yes,' " Feldman told ABC.

Jackson, 46, faces multiple counts of child molestation for allegedly molesting a cancer-stricken boy whom he befriended.

Jackson has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and the case is currently in the jury selection process. Testimony is expected to begin in March.

Go safely; see you on the big road!

Michael Jackson....GUILTY AS CHARGED :!: :!: :!: :!:

Lady18wheels 02-24-2005 05:29 PM

I've caught snippets on VH1 about Michael Jackson's Secret Childhood. Very interesting stuff I've never seen or heard before. Gonna try to catch the whole thing when it comes on again. Here's the link to the VH1 article if you're interested
http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/vh1_new...de_about.jhtml

Uturn2001 02-24-2005 06:21 PM

IMHO the news should not be allowed to report the names of the people charged and any details of a case until after a verdict is handed down. It does not matter what a person is charged with, be it speeding or 24 counts of first degree murder, all this coverage does is prevent the person from getting a truly fair trial.

For those of you who are ready to send Jacko to the gallows, or were convinced that Scott Peterson was guilty 4 days after his wife was reported missing let me ask you this.

If you were charged with a crime how would you like for every second of the preliminary investigation to be reported on before you were charged and then have the media "weigh" the "evidence" against you before a jury was even selected? Would you feel that you recieved a truly fair trial or would you wonder if it was a formality as everyone in that jury box has already made up their minds as to your guilt or innocence.

Twilight Flyer 02-24-2005 08:07 PM

To be completely honest, if I was guilty, I'd be pretty upset about all the news coverage. But if I didn't do it, I wouldn't have any problems with it. As a matter of fact, I would probably welcome the opportunity to showcase my innocence. Maybe that's a pie-in-the-sky view of things, but I think most people would be the same way. If you're guilty, you want things hush-hush...if you're not, you're probably singing the loudest for everyone to hear.

I think Michaels childhood might have twisted his look on reality. I liked his music in the 80's. I think he's a great music artist, but something might be wrong.

Lady18wheels 06-15-2005 06:36 PM

It's over now. Not guilty on all counts.

yoopr 06-15-2005 07:36 PM

and the Legal definition of "Not Guilty" doesn't necessarily mean Not Innocent.

Useless 12-19-2006 01:29 AM

Do I believe that MJ is an innocent victim who has been wrongfully branded as a child molester??

Sorry, but HELL NO!!

At the same time, I do not think for one moment that the prosecutors met their burden of proof. Had I been sitting on that jury, I would have had no choice but to vote for an acquittal.

As far as I'm concerned, any parent who brings their child over to have a sleep-over with him, or any other man, should be prosecuted for endangering the safety of a child!!

Not long ago, Michael Jackson appeared on the "Geraldo Springer Show". When asked about his favorite college football team he said that he was a big fan of "Bring'um Young University".
:P

Not only that, but Michael Jackson is teaming up with Florida's former Republican Congressman Mark Foley;

They are going to be re-releasing an old Bob Segar song called "Turn The Paige"
