Sycronicxs is prolly the one who caused this back up...oh my.

Actually, it looks like it may have all been faked. A group of world reporters stationed in Beijing got curious and decided to go see it for themselves, they never found this massive backup where it was supposed to have been at.

wow. they got me good

They got the whole world if it was indeed faked. Hard to tell with China having state run media whether it did happen and suddenly cleared up on it's own. I was a little leery of it being true, why would traffic be totally stopped for hours on end when 2 lanes of a 3 lane highway are open? Even if every vehicle in the country is on that road it should still move better than a mile per 24 hours as they claimed at one spot.

i agree, thats why when I read it I had to post it. I've seen my share of traffic but damn even the Chinese should know how to do road construction without that kind of delay.

Road To Nowhere: China's 75-Mile Jam - Yahoo! News UK

Wonder if it's true...................if so that's a lot of trucks in one area.

ronjon619 09-04-2010 03:15 AM

supposedly. WTH is going on over? There was an article about how the jam was costing an O/O over there. I can't find it now, but I think they make just as much as some guys over here. Something like $2k for 1000 miles I think.
