Big truck accidents are down, but is it enough?

This story was on the NBC Evening News tonite. Sure is bad PR for the industry.

This is sad story:) Infect 70-90% accidents of heavy machinery are due to operator error. So employer should focus on training needs.

We have had more traffic deaths in my state alone than the trucking industry has had nationally. The deaths in my state are mostly 4 wheelers, yet that doesn't make the news. These people don't seem to understand that we well never be a zero deaths as long as we have automobiles and trucks on the highways.

we had 33 heavy truck deaths in new zealand last year out of road toll of 300 odd and dnt think it will change much ,cars cause some ,truck drivers the others plus our roads not the best.and like you jokers some still breaking driver hours and drugs
