Just wondering how your feeling now that fuel cost have risen 300% since the democrates took over. A little lesson in politics: Demorcrates are primarily for big bussiness. Like bailing out big banks and law firms. And Republicians are the working class people, like Farmers, made in america workers, TRUCKERS. You know the ones how pull up there pants and get the country back on thier feet after Big bussiness has raped us working people for all we have to keep us under thier control. Since the begining of imigration of thousands of now americians the once Libritarian party changed thier name to Democrat in an attempt to get the new uninformed americians to vote their way. They changed the name because of the term democracy so the uninformed would vote by word assocition. I just don't see how anyone can blame the only ones who have stuck to thier beliefs in the constition of the United States of America. You know take care of our own people first. Or ones who had to change thier name to gain control.

I was wondering who dredged up this old thread. It's kinda funny reading it as so much is the same as today just substitute the name Obama for Clinton. The more things change the more they stay the same

If you look at who is buying the most oil you will find China is leading the charge is buying in massive bulk. That in turn raises demands and lowers Supply. China is willing to purchase at premium price and give it to their population at lower prices.

Having personal knowledge of the oil that is in the US we could pull enough oil out of the Williston Basin in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana to keep us oil dependent for over 100 years. But with enviormental blockades put on by our own government and the taxes that are levyed it is no longer cost efficient.

We have enough oil and knowledge to keep prices low, but ask the Government to suspend all the silly EPA rules and give tax breaks for alternative fuels and our problem would be solved.
Thanks you for the post.

Seeing as this old thread is still hanging here at the top of the list....
can we start putting the blame on Obama's big oil buddies yet? It was not only OK to do so with Bush but was the "in" thing to do.

I was reading how several European refineries were closed a week and a half ago, that said the "experts" were forecasting that the Eastern US would see gas prices that are equal to California's because of that. The reason, the 3 refineries over there that were closed down supply the east coast of our country. Couple that with Israel inching closer to lighting up Iran and your looking at prices skipping straight to $5 a gallon for gas and lord knows for diesel.
