Truckers & Dogs & Insurance

Hello -

My name is Barbara run a small business called MyDogVotes.com
Our goal is to get fight anti-dog legislation and policies and create awareness of dog owners as a powerful voting block - we're 43.7% of the US population.

I have heard that truckers are losing their insurance coverages based on their dog's breed. I have also heard that company drivers are no longer able to take their dogs with them if their dog is of a certain breed - German Shepherd, Rotweiller, APBT, Dalmation, Boxer, etc. (There are more 25 dog breeds blacklisted by insurance companies).

Homeowner's are losing insurance coverage because of their dogs in the US & Canada, too. RV'ers are no longer allowed to take their dogs camping if the dog is the "wrong breed".

Is this true? If you have lost coverage or been discriminated aganst because of your dog, please let me know. I am working on an voter awareness campaign and would like to include truckers & their dogs.

Email us at: [email protected]

Thanks very much,

Barbara
