Sorry to hear this.. I have not seen him posting here forever.. Peace to him and his family..

Just saw the Obit on Facebook from his sister tagging him. He was supposed to be spending a week in DC starting yesterday with hs grandkids and daughter. Noticed he hadn’t been active in a couple days......kick in the pants, he and I shared some of the same evil but funny thoughts.

I was just thinking of emailing him, to catch up, as it's been awhile.

It's been like the Rapture for me around here, as most everyone left, and as you can see from my posts lately, I got my own lonely little echo chamber.

Hobo is one of the mates here, I have always kept in my heart, and always will.

I don't get to spend a lot of time here anymore. Too many other things going on. But, when I came here, GolfHobo was one of the guys I looked forward to reading. What ever Heaven he believes in, I hope he's there. Complete with an excellent golf course.

Sad to hear. Hobo and I bumped political heads a few times during the heyday of CAD, but he was good people and we had a good time arguing with each other...all in good fun. Hate to see that he's left his mortal journey, but hope the one he's on now is full of joy.

He and I talked on Facebook a little bit after he was getting back into driving after his first bout of medical issues, ironically I was getting out of the truck at that time due to my own medical issues.
He was an extremely intelligent individual whom I respected immensely..
RIP Hobo...
