Anyone with reading habits?

Hey,

Does anyone have the habit of reading while on the road? I know you can't read while driving. But, do you carry books to read along the journey, when you take stops? Because I do. I read fiction and fantasy. If I don't have books, I will read articles on the internet. What about you?

I don't do much reading but I do read some that have made the movies. Like lonesome dove. Or zodiac. Zodiac is a good one. That dude was a weirdo wacko dude. 😳

I go thru about 35-40 hrs worth of audio books a week, but rarely have time to actually read much anymore. I have a couple shelves of books waiting if that counts. :)

when i ran the road, i'd take several magazines. automotive, gardening, hot rods, maybe Time.

i'd also buy any local newspaper of the area i was staying at for the day or night.

I use to do the same and looked at local adds for used cars. Being from rusty NY I was always impressed with the older rust free cars and trucks.

i worked with a guy from NY, upstate area, that had a winter car and a 3 seasons car. the winter car had a safety inspection and everything worked, including the heater/defroster.

he only took it out.....during the winter. nearly a complete rust bucket, that did at least have spray foam in the rear quarter panels to prevent the exhaust fumes from entering.

come spring, he parked it, and his "3 seasons cars" came out!....lol

same with me. I have never been much of a reader.
How I ever became a Road Scholar, is a mystery.

Yes indeed. Not that I'm a road scholar but I have driven up and down a couple roads...🤓😳
I don't have much time to read. I'd rather watch the movie that the novel is based on. 😜

Well, one thing for sure, my eyes aren't as good as they use to be. :roll3:
