Rt. 17 in VA
 

Figured I'd post this here so any of you who do use Rt. 17 to avoid the DC nightmare can get a head's up: U.S. 17 widening project explained | The News Desk

Basically a half mile West of I-95 to about 3 miles further West will be under construction for the next 2 years starting within the next month. Both sides of 17 will be affected. Don't believe it will do much good to help Southbound afternoon traffic until the re-work the 95 interchange.
