Living in the truck

The wife wants me to find a OTR job so that we can drive around the country together. My question is this: what would be a decent, no nonsense company that would allow my wife and one small dog to live in the truck for a month or so at a time? I'm thinking maybe a flatbed company because I'm a driver, not a grocery warehouse lumper. We would need a company that has big enough sleepers so that we could have room for a tv and plenty of storage space. I have heard good things about Sammons, but that lease option kind of scares me. I know it's all in Sammons favor, but it MAY be an option for me. Talk to me G-man ( and others ) I'm listening.

I don't know much. But, I know MOST 'flatbed' companies use Mid-roof sleepers. I don't think that would be big enough for the two of you (and a dog.) You need AT LEAST a "condo" sleeper (if not an extended one.) Doesn't mean you have to pull a reefer, but... if you DID... it would give you both options (dry van and reefer loads.)

Remember Rawlco? :) flatbed driver from Bangor, Maine

He worked for TMC that has those nice sleeper Pete's w/ flats.
He took his wife along at times.

....never heard from him again, either. ;) I shouldn't laugh... :D

Well if you never hear from me again, tell the cops to question my wife
