What is the average time a new hire spends with their trainer? How long til he gets his own truck? He just started with PAM.

It depends, could be 6 weeks for most new fresh out of driving school truckers. Or it could be as little as 2-4 weeks if you already have experience.

I don't know what their training policy is, so that'll make it hard to figure out. Where I work, it's done by driving hours (275, usually). 6 to 8 weeks would be normal for us, but that can vary.
