and for those who are into stuff like this.....this makes two high profile deaths today....ONE MORE to go!!

I didn't read the link yet, but.... I'll bet he faced death with a calm assurance that he had done his best to help people who weren't as fortunate as he to have a short illness and a "definite" END.

Some, on the other side of the aisle (both politically AND religiously,) call him Dr. Death and are surely dancing in the streets tonight.... the way they danced everytime some WACKO murdered a doctor who happened to provide "LEGAL" abortions.

You see.... in America (though not in ALL parts of the World and all societies,) independently deciding WHEN and/or HOW to end one's life (or to create another) is against the LAW! :roll: [tho' I'm not sure HOW they can punish you if you succeed.]

Of course, the INSURANCE companies will punish you... and your heirs!!

Some of these "RIGHTeous" people can't tell the difference between keeping a "vegetable" alive.... and "choosing" when to allow a biological function to become a lifelong committment. :hellno:

So.... they run up the costs of healthcare and the gov't obligation to Medicare, and then scream bloody murder cuz we spent too much on Planned Parenthood! :eek2::hellno:

R.I.P. Doctor Death! You forced Americans to confront a basic question of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! We hope that SOMEDAY the Republicans will COME TO CLASS and learn the "constitutionality" of the question.... as well as the fiscal realities involved! :thumbsup::lol2:

I personaly have to agree with Hobo on this one.. We do it for our pets cause it's human, why cant we do it for our loved ones? I would want that if I were in that state.

So, I was reading the article and decided to google pulmonary embolism because it struck me that this is what is often used in spy films, etc. to kill someone without leaving evidence.

Though it is "usually" a blood clot that breaks loose and goes to the lung and blocks the main artery.... it can also be an "air bubble."

Anyone think perhaps the Dr. decided to end his own life with a syringe full of air inserted into the proper artery?



And OTX.... about your "deaths in threes" theory..... the next day, former sec of state Lawrence Eagleburger died.

Seriously though, I can see why that would bug ya. For the record, I would have given you a positive reaction many times if I'd known how.

Although, he had said he was not a candidate for assisted suicide, he was dealing with a type of liver cancer. And, his long-time friend, that assisted him with nearly all of the 130 deaths said it was an embolism. Put 2 and 2 together. Sounds to me like he did it his way. Generally, if it had been a blood clot, he would have had a history of it, and would have been on meds to prevent it. Looks to me as if a syringe full of air, and good bye world. Could be wrong, but just a hunch.
