Why do some drivers piss in a bottle to begin with? That in it's self is nasty.

I have an opinion on all of this, but I'm trying to HOLD IT until I get to the next truckstop!

Try using a bathroom, or piss in the grass on the side of an exit ramp. There is no need to be pissing in a bottle!!! :smokin:

I think we all agree that walking thru or smelling urine in a T/S parking lot is gross, demeaning and offensive both personally AND professionally.
Personally, I am JUST as offended when I see these "bombs" on the side of the road at one of the FEW places the local/state DOT has provided for us truckers! And I am equally, if not more, disgusted by the way SOME truckers leave the bathroom stall that they were lucky enough to visit! Some "local Wuss" asked WHY anyone would ever want to USE a "pee bottle.":lol: Obviously, he's never taken his "daycab" out for an OTR spin! ;) I only got to do SOLO otr a few times, but I always had a bottle with me. Sometimes, when it's 0 degrees outside, you just want to stand up in your longjohns and "relieve" your bladder so you can go back to sleep! Who wants to get DRESSED and go inside the truckstop just to find a nasty bathroom? Later, at the right time, you can dump your bottle on God's green earth away from anyone that it would bother! What's the problem? Astronauts do it! Pilots do it. Everyone on a TRAIN or BUS does it! Ever been in a hospital bed and have to use a URINAL?? When Solo, and most of the time when teaming, I ALWAYS plan my trip to have a truckstop visit every 3-4 hours! Problem solved! But, I am always prepared. But, some of you MISS the point. It's not whether to USE a bottle or not.... but, how to dispose of it or its contents! And you continue to forget about and discount those of us who drive TEAM rigs! As a team driver, you spend up to 10 hours "in the bunk." The co-driver is in charge of when you stop... IF you do! It is almost IMPERATIVE that a "team driver" who is not on duty not force the "driver in charge" to stop here or there and now and now again.... so that he can take a leak! It is comforting to wake up whenever nature calls, and take care of your business while the truck is making miles, and then go back to sleep! THIS may be where many of the "bombs" come from! The question is WHY anyone is so afraid of his own bodily fluids that he can't keep them hidden away in the bunk until he can SAFELY and with dignity dump them.... and must instead toss them out the window each morning before starting out again! I have bottles.... MANY of them! I don't even bother to dump them at the FIRST opportunity... I bring them HOME at night, dump them in my toilet, and wash them out with bleach so I can RE-USE them! I like the "simply juice" bottles because they have such a wide mouth! Obviously, this would be important to ME! :smokin: 32 oz widemouth gatorade is "comfortable" although limited in capacity! The important thing is.... You will NEVER find my urine in your parking lot, and you will NEVER find my "bomb" on the side of the road! I believe in "Pack it in... Pack it out!" Just wanted some here to understand WHY a driver might USE a "bottle." I don't know of, nor would I ever condone, anyone using one WHILE driving a CMV! I HAVE seen them poured out windows, usually while leaving a truckstop or somewhere, but that driver is lucky I couldn't catch up with him! :pissedoff: This is a PRIVATE function, and the results should remain PRIVATE. I only have ONE more thing to add: Why do truckstops/travel plazas have a "dumping station" for Recreational Vehicles?? Why aren't they adapted for, and promoted to, TRUCKERS??? If you've EVER used the bathroom in a moving RV or Bus.... you've answered your own question. If you haven't.... you need to take a train to D.C. or N.Y! Okay... that was TWO things! :hellno::eek2::lol2: |
People complain about pee bottles but, if they complain about illegal aliens peeing on their lawn then they are violating their civil rights.
