LMAO! That's funny!

Me, too! Very funny! Especially liked the Heller-Heck act and the Laughta-Slaughter act! And of course... the Borren-Sessions act.

Good to see you WildKat! Thought we'd lost you!

I just ran across this ( on a non-approved Hobo site  ) and thought it would help lighten the mood. Many of us ( me included ) get VERY "involved" in the outcome. This should not divide us as drivers. We still have a common goal here ( on this site )... to look out for US!!! Yes, that does include national policy in some ways BUT, our MAIN concern is with our industry. I have to admitt that I'm releived to see some "balance" of power.

Maybe America will be great once again. That is my TRUE hope.

Hobo doesn't support/approve ANY site (except CAD.) ;)

Hobo ALSO has a pretty good sense of humor, when it is presented as such.

Hobo is now talking about himself in the 3rd person, which should PROVE that he can transend politics at times and take an "objective" view of THIS and all other administrations. I guess you could say that I (I mean HE) gets more "involved" in policy rather than politics.

I believe in MOST (but not all) Progressive policies. I respect and agree with MANY (but not most) Conservative policies. This makes me a "slightly" left leaning CENTRIST. I "debate" from the Left, but "LIVE" in the Center... as I believe Obama does.

Nor as Americans. :patriot:

THAT has never been up for a vote! I mean it is non-negotiable! CAD members stand "united" in our division about local vs. OTR (and union vs. "right to work" companies!) :lol2:

Seriously, you can MESS with my president.... but don't MESS with my brothers and sisters on CAD!:moon:

Under the circumstances.... I agree! I believe our government works BEST when it is "counterbalanced." (when it works AT ALL!) IF it makes some of you feel less "stressed" to have SOME "say" in things NONE of us can really control, I'm all for it. (MOSTLY, cuz I'm tired of all your whining!) :lol2:

I guess "this" is where we differ. I didn't realize we had lost that greatness.... that "exceptionality" that BOTH sides are so proud of. I feel that it is ONLY through a narrow interpretation of "greatness" that SOME can believe that we have somehow lost our "standing" in the World.

It IS true that we lag behind our "socialist" allies in MANY areas of civil rights, social security, health and retirement benefits, and education (to name a few,) but we maintain military dominance, economic opportunity (for NOW) as well as political and religious Freedom(?)!!

I can't help but believe that if MORE people would quit obsessing over what they think we've lost, we could work together to save and increase what we've EARNED.

GOD (or the creator of your choosing) BLESS America! We're still the Land of the FREE!

;)
