These guys work for CW Roberts, big contractor in Walton County , Florida .
They have just received contract to do the “HAY THING” for all the 26 miles of Walton County, Florida beaches including Sandestin.
They start off shore with tug boats and barges spreading or blowing the hay over the oil.
If this works it will make the EPA look silly.

On a serious note, have you ever seen where a bearing goes out, or a hydraulic hose springs a leak on a combine? That wheat chaff will "consume" the grease, or hydraulic oil. There will be nothing left..
This idee that these 2 boys came up with might just work. http://serve.mysmiley.net/animated/anim_60.gif

It works in everyday life and the "experts" had no idea. Garbage trucks around here and some dumps carry a bale or two of straw with them in case a hose blows and starts dumping hydro fluid on the ground. Throw it or them down in front of wherever the oil is heading and it stops the oil from going any further. Same thing on the farm when we're doing hay, anything that has oil on it, the hay and dust is like a magnet to it and it wipes right off at the end of the day.

And, watch...

They'll probably be the only ones successful enough to keep the slick away from the beach.:lol2:

Hopefully not the CEO and COO. ;)

Although I object to your characterization of OUR president as a 'weenie' (he WAS the editor of the Harvard Law Review,) I agree that twiddle dee and twiddle dum here ARE "certified rednecks." But.... HEY! God LOVES rednecks, too! :D

No reason they should have known to pronounce it as Ber-myoo-da grass instead of Ber-MOO-da grass. But, what got me was when he went to the second bowl, where he had told us he placed HAY.... and then called THAT Bermooda grass. :hellno::lol:

J/K.... I'm sure he was nervous.

Fact is.... it appears that the stuff WORKS!! This is an amazing idea, and apparently one that MANY should have realized.

Why stop there? They should be getting a contract from BP to buy up all the hay, bermooda grass and that stuff just getting harvested this week.... and subcontract every FISHING BOAT in the gulf.... and get TO IT!!!

As stated above... hire the ones who are suffering first. Then get every barge or tugboat needed. Hell.... get the U.S. NAVY involved if needed!

Not just THEM, but BP... Haliburton, Transocean, and every "clean up" operation ever mounted.

But, I AGREE that this shows TOO MANY "beaurocrats" (sp) in the government are NOT doing their jobs, or are NOT qualified for them!

But, let's place blame later. Let's get this idea to the ones who need it now! Send that YOUTUBE link to every congressman, news organization or "environmental NGO" you can find an email addy to! What ELSE you doin' right now, Hoggie???

The RIGHT people need to see this. Things like this can be LOST on Youtube.

If I wasn't incapable of following thru on some ideas, I'd find Chris Matthews' email account at MSNBC and INSIST he watch it! You won't believe what would happen next!

Road, are you the only one allowed to post videos?

Hoggie:

Read this,

http://trueslant.com/jeffmcmahon/201...ulf-oil-spill/

and then email the youtube link to Kevin Costner.

He'll know what to do with it.

go to User CP
under Settings & Options, click on Edit Options
bottom of the page...in the Message Editor Interface...click on the arrow on the balloon box
select Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing... click on Save Changes

In your Reply to Thread box,
click on the You Tube icon on the far right

On the You Tube video you want to post, you can first select

Include related videos
Show Border
Enable privacy-enhanced mode

(I usually just choose Show Border)

select the Border color
select the size

(I choose the second size-I think it might vary, but this video size is 500x405)

After that, click on the <Embed> balloon...it will highlight the code you need to copy

Go back to your CAD message, and paste the code inbetween the You Tube icons

You can then click on the Preview Post balloon to check your message, and be sure your video is installed.
