Whether at fault or not
I just heard a TV commercial that got my blood boiling. It was a lawyer advertising for people to call who had been involved in an accident with an 18 wheeler "whether at fault or not." No wonder our insurance premiums are so high. The feds no longer publish the actual amount of insurance that a carrier has due to lawyers and individuals checking the website to see how much insurance a carrier has before filing a lawsuit. I would like to see these type of ads stopped. They know that insurance companies will often settle a lawsuit rather than fight due to the higher cost of fighting. The costs are passed along to those of us who pay insurance premiums.
