Here are a few in the last 7 days that are over 6. They have indeed been of a larger magnitude and more frequent. I use to look up 5 or higher now I look at the 6 or higher weekly. You can look up the earthquake data very easy on the Earthquakes website. Northridge was more than enough for me!

I don't know that "the time is getting closer", but I do think the earth is going through a phase, and when it's over, maps may not look exactly the same. There might be some that will try to connect it o global warming, and others that may try to connect it to underground nuclear testing. I just thought it was interesting.
