What is the most interesting load you hauled ?

"1" piece of paper with a barcode on it. in the trailer (bolt seal and wire seal) to keep it safe.
no kidding it was a USPS load winter of 08. spokane,wa. to pasco, wa. then to los angeles, ca.
when the post office books a load it runs no matter what (it's paid for) spokane had nothing going to pasco or LA so we had the barcode for the load in the trailer and went to pasco, when we got to pasco thay didn't have anything going to LA so a new piece of paper with the new barcode and off to LA....

fedex "2" boxes under 5lb (in 07) columbus, oh. to memphis, tn.

"1" 450lb pump for a oil refinery (in 07) to big for ups and schneider didn't show up to get it OH-TX

How about.....
SKINLESS HOTDOG SKINS
Yeah, there really is such a thing. They're made out of paper, then stuffed with the meat to make the hotdogs. After the hotdogs are cooked, the skin is sliced and removed. Then the hotdogs are packaged.

A flatbed load of... RAILROAD CROSSINGS
There's a company on the west side of Denver, CO that precasts them, loads them on trucks, and they get shipped all over the country. I've gone over a few R R crossings lately, and they seem to be getting more and more popular.

A flatbed load of... SPEED BUMPS
I was joking, one day, about loading up the potholes from Chicago to run to NYC for speed bumps, and another driver let me know that he actually was hauling them. The speed bumps, not potholes. His were made out of rubber.

I'd have to reach to really come up with an interesting load.
One that sticks out the most though.

I hauled Frozen Chinese from San Diego to Chicago.

Well, I've only had one really interesting load. In my time on 48-state, the only 'high-value' (over $250k) load I ever hauled was a load from Rothschild in Fall River, MA to Limited Brands in Reynoldsburg, OH. It was 12,000lbs. of apparel for Victoria's Secret.

I frigging hate yer guts. :pissedoff:

A big meat slicer from Cargill in North Carolina to Kansas City, total weight 5000 pounds, only thing in a 53 foot trailer

Sadly, no. I just got paid the mileage for the trip.
However, those folks at Rothschild almost had me sleepin' on the street that night, because I parked my truck on their lot, then went to find anyone in the shipping office. I couldn't find anyone, so I walked over to the grocery store, bought some food, then came back to find that they had locked the gates. Seeing as how I'm not very wide, I squeezed between the gates and got back to my truck. The folks did get my trailer loaded (floor-to-ceiling, nose-to-50' back) in a half hour, though.

it didnt fill the trailer, it was about maybe 10 feet by 10 feet and weighed 5000 pounds, they said nothing could be in with it because it was Kosher??
