I am 39 years old, I have 5 boys (Yes, I said 5!) ages 14, 12, 9, 8, and 4. I'm a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom), and I love my computer!! :P I enjoy playing online games. (MMORPG) I'm on my computer a little too much...but my kids are the most precious things in my life. :D It's nice to be here...thanks for reading my intro. 8) That was very sweet and sad at the same time, such a wonderful tribute to your dad and his memory. Look forward to seeing you around. Happy reading. TW |

New Guy
Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself since im new to this site. My name is Rob and im currently in Iraq but my heart is in trucking. I have been in the Air Force for 17 yrs and will retire from here. My job right now is a Military Working Dog Handler/Kennel Master. I love working with dogs and training them. This is my 4th deployment in the last 4 years and probably not my last. I love what i do and fell in love with trucking because of my brother in law. We want to start our own family trucking business, but it will be awhile before we can start it. I am married with 4 kids, 1 grandbaby and 2 dogs. So with my research comes alot of questions, so please be patient with me because i will probably be asking some stupid questions. Again im glad to be here and will enjoy learning from all of you.

Great site. The information and advice really helps. Long time NJ resident, sad isn't it? Operated most types of heavy equipment, fire trucks but never any paid driving work. I am new to trucking, went through one of the Sage schools in PA, survived the NJ testing (the test range was so small I had to use a 28 foot trailer). 90% set on starting with Anderson in February. 2 busy teenage kids, 2 very busy Border Collies, to crazy cats, lots of family travel, camping, scouting events and camping in all kinds of weather etc. Being on the road, well I'll just prepare for it like one our foul weather camping experiences. Spent as much time as possible talking drivers, retired drivers and instuctors about the business . I Don't pretend to know much, but their wisdom has helped avoid more than a few mistakes. That's pretty much my introduction. 8)

Seems like you have it all going on. Good luck, safe travels and happy reading. TW |
Hello
Hi there!!! I'm a trucker's significant other. We went on the road together for three months with our min pin, Zoe, and had a grand time. Missed being home, though, and have a teen at home so Mike took a local job for now and is working nights. :(
Glad to be here though and hope to get to know you guys. :) |
Welcome.
The avatar is cool. Kinda hard to see the dog. At first, I thought, "man, that is one goofy lookin dude." :P  |
