Dallas caving in
 

Kunkle said his department's computer system for citations has a pull-down menu that includes a law requiring drivers of commercial vehicles to speak English. The chief said he believes the federal law was misapplied to local drivers of private vehicles.

From now on Dallas police will not give commercial drivers tickets for being unable to speak English, Kunkle added, saying that was a job for other law enforcement agencies.

How about the rest of this story? It started with a lady getting cited for not speaking English by a rookie officer and Kunkle said that was wrong, that they have no such law like that. He has pledged to either drop other citations that were written as non-English speaking or to re-imburse any drivers who already were found guilty and paid a fine.

I don't know how to post the whole story. I'm not that computer savvy.

However, with CSA2010 coming all you need to do is not speak English and you're all set.

Our leaders are just giving the country away. The country is getting worse instead of getting better. :pissedoff:

Well seeing as how our leaders stole this country from the original owners, in some cases with a very brutal outcome, it only seems fitting that we give it away...

You forgot to mention that the previous occupants stole it too. Isn’t that the history of the entire world? I mean all current occupants the world over stole it from the previous occupants and not some times but most of the time with brutal outcomes. It just didn’t only happen in the New World, but all over the world, and in the new world the previous occupants used to conquer and massacre each other on a regular and routine basis all the time too. Thus, please excuse me if I don’t suffer from the same guilt affliction because of human nature that you and apparently so many other people suffer from too.

it was a tongue in cheek statement, hell even Orangetxguy could see that, and added that my mind might be skewed from inhaling gas fumes on a daily basis.
I am quite aware of the history of our world and of course our country as my relatives have been here since the revolutionary war. So I too will ask if you may please excuse me as I don't suffer from the same Conservative affliction you apparently have. Life is not meant to be taken so seriuosly it's just a game, relax a little and I promise you the voices in your head will go away...

lol, considering the number of ppl out west that have issues with english I could imagine the number of tickets You'd have to issue. That might be why it's something they would overlook, lol.
