Lucky to be Alive........

This guy almost died Thursday morning. He was lucky the front wheels got caught on his ramp.

He banged his head and shoulder really bad. When the other drivers and I got him out he was in some major pain.

Good grief! That's scary.

So...Did the folks at Waggoneers run him off for trying to reposition the car and driving it off the truck.......or give him a raise for not damaging the truck??

I'm surprised that he didn't shat his brit-chez!!!

We were thinking he popped the clutch and it jumped over the ramp. It was a standard transmission. I walked over to see the car today. The only damage was to the rear bumper. The guys at the railhead in Midlothian brought over a forklift to pick it up but since our company is most likely buying that car we called a wrecker to pick it up. The wrecker got it down without rolling it on it's side. Look for it at an auction in the near future.

I once had a guy back a Chevy S-10 into the front of the Peterbuilt I was driving. He'd never driven a standard before. Didn't realize what gear he was in. Didn't damage the truck, but I have no idea how they ever got the tailgate to close after that.

Sounds like it was being loaded. When I first saw the picture, I thought he was walking by and the car came down nearly on top of him. And, somehow, the only damage being the bumper just doesn't seem possible. I can't even imagine a ride like that.

And there I was, thinking they would drop it on it's side, without using a crane!
