Now, does that give you any idea why I have been saying that we should refuse to work for any company that uses PILOT for fuel? Today, no, i do not recommend that we all quit our jobs because of PILOT, but there are still times when I think that might be far better than allowing PILOT to flourish.

Some years ago, in AZ, I stopped at a PILOT to take my 8-hour break (It was only 8 hours back then) and the manager came out and said I had to leave. Trucks were not allowed to park there. :eek1: The only truck in the whole lot. I told him I was out of hours, and he didn't care. The trooper that came when he made the call ended up talking to him, and I was not told to leave. Don't remember seeing that manager there after that. But, that IS Pilot's mentallity. Give us your money for the fuel, and then GET HE HELL OUT!!!

I loved it when our company stopped using EFS and went to TCH. That meant NO MORE PILOT!!!

I know Dave; I failed to mention that they are cheap, too... see, I was saving that for the "PILOT is cheap!" thread ;)

Belpre, the coolie carriers will never give you nor your ilk the satisfaction; however, I support your cause. You may never know... perhaps the economy will *turn around* the coolie side of carrying as those sorts of carriers will no longer be able to support the horrible drivers they churn out... I used to be one of them (horrible driver I mean... coolie.. maybe that too...) It seems they are firing the accident-prone and legaless loggers, but if the economy happens to bounce back it will more than likely be "back to business" as usual.

Man, I tried parking at this little Citgo stop on US 30 at the Il/IN line, before I even popped the brakes, I had a lizard jump up on my truck. 5 minutes later, some other chick comes up beggin for money, 2 minutes later, some messed up dude asking for money, 10 min later another messed up chick saying she works there and it cost $20 to park, I said get the heck away from me, so she goes OK $10 to park. I closed the window on her. She comes back 10 min later, saying $5 to park. I ignored her. Well at this point I closed all curtains, and laid down. Not even 15 min later some dude comes up with a car BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP honking at my truck. I jump up front, WTF is going on, leave me alone or I call the cops. He says he is the security guard for this little fuel stop and it will be $5 or I have to leave, so I say, "Ok fine, I will leave, not only are you not getting the $5, but now you are not getting the money for the full tanks I was GOING to get in the morning", so I took off. Personally I think it was just her pimp, I dunno but it was crazy. I've had lizards knock on my door before, but so many people right after another, and all but one where just begging for money!

Hell if i wouldn't of seen the town or road number i would of swore up and down you was in Maxton, NC down the street from the Campbell Soup Plant!!
