Do you think Sirius will get a bail out?

Looks like Sirius is going to be in line next for a government bail out now that their stock is worth .17 cents a share. Honestly XM really wasn't in that bad of shape compared to Sirius before the merger / hostile takeover. 500 Million dollars well spent Mel. At least O&A will still have their Krock gig.

Are you honestly that naive to think that the $500 million spent on Stern is the cause of the current stock price, or the cause of the current financial problems?

Yes. I sure do.

It seems odd to me that Sirius could be in financial trouble. All the people that have Sirius at $12.something a month. That's a lot of money. Makes ya wonder where it's going, if they are in a financial bind.

XM had a lot of debt that is coming due, and hardware sales are down.

Ahh. Well, that makes more sense now.
And some of their radios are higher than a kite.

A lot of people are waiting to purchase new radios until the new company figures out what to do regarding the compatibility of the two former companies' technologies. Couple that with $400 million worth of XM debt that is coming due, and you've got a volatile situation on your hands.

Only an idiot would think that the current financial situation of Sirius was caused by Howard Stern. Of course, if you're drinking the O&A Kool Aid.....

So only an idiot would think Howard is the reason why Sirius/XM is tanking? Would a person be an idiot for thinking Howard was cause the huge market decline in the terrestrial radio market?

So part of the problem is XM's $400 million dollars of debt when Sirius pays Hoo Hoo $100 million a year.
