Just to clear up a couple of things:

When I say "new" owners I am referring to IB who bought the board about a year ago.

Yes I do hope to be able to stick around as a regular poster.

Well, Ridge Runnder, it's encouraging to know that you will still hang around.

I guess that is the nice way to say it about what happened. What it boiled down to for me was trust and respect. After what happened I could no longer "work" for people that I have neither for. They had their chance to make it right ( twice )( with me ) and they blew it. I did what was right for me. What the others do or if new Mods come on board they will all have my full support. I have already said more than I wanted to as I will NOT bring all the details out on the open board. This is a private matter so please respect my decision.

I really want CAD to continue to do well because it is the ONLY place I will make an appearance with the way the other boards are run. CAD is the best out there and it is because of you guys.

I have always said that this was my way of giving back something to the industry that has been so good for me. I feel that now my debt is paid.

I'm sorry to hear how things ended up, but I am glad to know it happened this way. I was actually afraid that there was a new "team" of big wigs coming in. :p

My participation dropped off due to increased work demands, but now, as I lurk, the quality of the board has been in a state of steady decline.

The loss of Ridge, Batman, and others will only serve to drive it down even further.

I don't think the board has been defeated in any way, shape, or form. Just because postings are down doesn't mean that the board is defeated. Postings are down on the other trucking boards as well.

A number of posters have found their way back to the board. It may take some time before participation is where it was before the change. Even on the old board there were times when posts were down. People get busy or tire of the same type of posts. I am sure the posts will pick up over time. I wasn't crazy about the new format, but am getting used to it.
