They have mine. As someone that has been thru HELL himslef and everyone here helped me especially Slimland helped me get thru it BIGTIME. HE can have all the support I can give him long diastance.

He told me about it in an email a couple of months ago, but I have not gotten any update since then. He's gone from his own pain and problems to forgetting about his own, and having a quite serious problem with his wife. Not a day has passed that they have not been in my thoughts and prayers.

It is rough and from my understanding only to get rougher.
My wife had a CAT scan and a Bone Scan to see how far it has spread. It is a very Agressive Cancer, that started in her breast. We will know the results of those 2 test Wednesday the 5th..

So my friends I won't be on here as much, but will drop by when I get a chance. Right now I just had to get away. I know my focus should and is on my wife. I am just stressed.. so peace y'all and will hopefully chat with all yall soon..

Slim, my friend, you know that praying is not something I can do at this point in my life... but, you and your wife and family are heavy on my heart at this time. And I will ask my Dad to pray for all of you.

I am also hoping that your own medical situation has improved. You will need all the strength you have now. And your faith (and TRUST) must be stronger than ever.

WEll Some good news is the Bone scan and Cat scan has come back negative for metastises..

But on the bad side, it still needs some more testing but my wife's right aorta of her heart is enlarged, and can be adding to her weight loss, tiredness and pain, on top of her chronic pancreitis and gall bladder.. She will be having surgery monday to remove the breast's lump and the some of the lympnodes that have cancer..
So pray that the docs hand are blessed, so she don't get no nerve damage..

My Wife had her surgery and I thought I would wait to give a update until we had the resultls in from the removal of the lump..

The test on the lump showed a Triple Negative class C Poorly Difreintiated Invasive Adeno Carcinoma. Naughtinham Grade 3.
It was all the way to the chest wall 4 centameters big..

Doesn't look like it went into the lympnodes, but the blood stream is not known. So if it is anywhere else in the body, it is too small to find..

She has another surgery the 1st of Dec, to get a port put in, and then she will start Radiation and Kemo. Just in case they missed somethin and the micro scopic crap.

I am not too happy with the Doc, she seems to be hiding somethin, or she is just not being clear..
Also the pain doc realy treated my wife badly at first, like she was some kinda drug user, then later apologized. But that scarred her.

I am thinking of contacting him myself and talking to him. Since I have a little more experience in dealing with pain docs and doc's in general.

She goes in the 1st and I go in the 2nd for some nerve blocks.

Sounds like some good news, Slim.... I think. I'm not UP on all this stuff. You need to stay after them, on ALL fronts! Make SURE they are being up front with you, no matter how bad the news might be.

BTW, I asked my Dad to pray for you and your wife. He's only ONE man, but he has had good results in the past. I will reinforce my request. If you believe in prayer, you can't do much better than this man. I truly believe he has a direct link.

But, there's no magic here. Much of it rests in your OWN belief and trust! I know when my Dad faced a similar situation, he would listen to the docs, then hit his knees in prayer. I hope, and believe, you are doing the same.

[my brother should have died as a child from a kidney disease that required dialysis when there were only 4 machines in the country. His prayers and that of his church were enough, I guess, cuz that SOB is still here to beat me in golf nearly evey time we play!]

BTW.... when I discussed your situation with my dad, he emphasized the concept of TRUST! Prayer is meaningless without TRUST! Some people think that God wants you to "believe" in him. But, I think belief is a shallow concept without TRUST! God wants us to TRUST him!

It is not your "belief" that is being tested right now.... but your TRUST.

Trust in YOUR Lord, but keep your "powder" dry. You KNOW what I mean!

Check those Docs, but don't put your trust in them. But, it's okay to PRAY for them. Fear serves no purpose here. Knowing your background, I can only say that it would empower your enemy. And I have MET your enemy, Slim.... and he is afraid of you. HE has no power over you.

I've seen pain blocking, but nothing about chemo-therapy in case it did get into the blood stream. I would have expected that.

Aw, Slimland. My heart goes out to you, your wife, and loved ones. It is a terrible thing to have to go through. There are so many questions with so few answers.

Please know that we are here for you and praying for your wife's healing and strength to carry you all through.

Just this past friday Angie seen her doc, well come around 5pm they called the house and asked her to come in monday cause the doc wanted to talk to her again.

The doc said she wouldn't be able to sleep unless she told Angie the whole truth. But she wanted to get other doctors opinions on the matter before she told Angie..
So here is the news..

She is going to have to get a Masectomy, They couldn't get all the cancer out cause it was too close to her chest wall, and they think it went, and said more than likely it went into her blood stream, and hasn't found a place to matastisise yet.. It is possible that it could be in her uteris on the inside where the cat scan cant see.

So she will have a masectomy, and some rigoris Chemo, and Radiation..

The doc said if she don't have a masectomy, then after chemo there is a 90% chance of it returning, and if it does it will be resistant to chemo and she might live 5 years if she is lucky.

If she choosed no chemo or anything, still maybe 5 years.

If she goes with the plan then I think it is more of a 50\50..

Hang in there. My mother had a mastectomy to remove breast cancer about 10 years ago. Chemo and radiation. It was a rough time, but she is a survivor. Keep the faith and know you all are in our prayers.

Well a very short update.

My wife is not doing any better, the cancer is in her bloodstream and I swear the doctors she is seeing are trying to kill her.
They have not told us the truth on anything, we found this out by getting her medical records. So now we are in the process of trying to get her on SSI and Medicaid, so I can take her some where else.
Even my Surgeon whom I trust completly told me to get her out of there after hearing what was done and said..
Without going into great detail and taking all night to explain, let me just say that it looks like it has spread to her uterus and possibly may become multiple myloma; which her dad died from when he was 42 back in 1995.
The question is now is there time before it cant be controlled?
The kemo was supposed to start monday and every 2 weeks after if she could handle it. But they scheduled her for 4 times a week and that alone will kill her. So after she's on medicade then I will take her to Joe Arrington here in Lubbock, and my surgeon will be her doc.

I can't imagine that it would take so long to get her on medicaid. I am praying vigilantly for you and your family, too, along with the others here. I am sorry to hear about things at home, Slimland. There have been some changes the last few months. Some have gone away and others are not posting as much as before. I believe some lost their way when the board changed. Things change. We have some new people. Some are a bit shy and don't post much. We have always had some that prefer reading to active participation.
