It is the Establishment politicians vs. We The People.

Formal Nationalization of the economy is well under way.
Things are different, this time.

There is frequent evidence that we have become a police state.
Things are different, this time.

The various levels of gov't are micro-managing your daily life, now.
Things are different, this time.

Inflation is advancing nicely, but will accelerate to an alarming pace.
Things are different, this time.

Various levels of gov't oppress We The People, while giving support and assistance to our enemies, our competitors and illegal aliens.
Things are different, this time.

Feel free to add to the evidence list.

What do you do, when you are in a fight?
Wnen you are in a fight, you fight.
Right?

What is the difference between Democrats & Republicans?

They are mostly liberal, so that is not a big difference.
They are mostly verbose, so that is not a big difference.
They are mostly rich, so that is not a big difference.

There must be a big difference, somewhere.
Where is it?

They are mostly all out for themselves, so that is not a big difference.
They are mostly insulated from the challenges of daily life, so that is not a big difference.

Feel free to add to the differences.

Ok. I figured it out.
There is a difference between democrats and republicans.

The democrats are The Bad Guy.
They are vile, whining, crying, scheming, lying dirt bags that believe in big gov't, big taxation, big regulation and everything that denies you freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The republicans are the Good Guy.
They don't fight the democrats.

So, There you have it.

An age old tactic of the Good Guy and the Bad Guy on the same team, vs. We The People.

Yeah, that's what I be.

That post could support 3 or a half dozen threads.
Its been bugging me.

They are attacking from so many directions, at once, that it is hard to focus on any one problem.

I think they call it distraction, while they loot what's left of our national credit line.

When its done, the Constitution will be a footnote in a couple of history books.

And, We the People will continue to do as we are told.

Now, I'm desperate. I think I'll start another thread or 2...

I agree totally.

Look into Ron Paul. He stands for the Constitution, has a solid voting record, and is a TRUE conservatie. Not one of these neo-cons.

I've been watching Ron, from a distance.
It seems he had an issue or 2, but he is far better than the illusion of choice we are facing.

The two top candidate are Mr. Bad and Mr. Worse.
They are Establishment politicians - on the same team.
Neither is for We the People, and neither will get my vote.

noBama may have it bought and paid for, though, thanks to aCorn.

What issues do you have with Paul? Just curious? His stand on the war on drugs is raical, but atleast its consistent with the Constitution. The current idea on drugs isn't working, so maybe change is needed.

You are right about the so-called drug war.

My issues are that I just don't know him that well.
I know that he appeared to have a huge grass-roots support, for a while. I don't know if it is still there, but it was viral, for a while.

There is a vague memory, from earlier this year, but I don't recall what is was, or whether it was legit. Seems it may have been that he was supporting illegal aliens' entry to the USA.

Again, not sure - at all. I haven't spent the time needed, to keep up with all those that the drive by media ignores. Their efforts in support of the front runners, is wasted on me.

I quit paying much attention to the drive by media. Their in-your face bias, became evident, a long time ago. That is one reason that I spend no money on any newspaper.

If Ron Paul is on the ballot, he will get my vote over either of the 2 illusions, from which we are asked to choose.

I also like Tom Tancredo, but again, I don't know much about him, beyond his stance on illegal aliens.

I think it was New Zealand, in a situation similar to that in which we now find ourselves.

They cut their gov't by a huge amount, and seemed to have righted their ship of state.

We are at the precipice, now.

We are in a civil war. There are real bullets, killing real people.

Earlier this year, SW of St. Louis, a man shot up his city council, because they were oppressing his ability to do business.

You don't hear much about these things.
But, they are happening.

If We The People can not right our ship of state, in this election, then we will have a new country, to which I have no loyalty - and no options.

Yep, it looks bad for the Repubs at this point, that IS the point of this thread isn't it?

Well, when your policies lead to $700 billion solutions, you can expect some serious, vicious, nasty, angry, etc, etc, backlash from the electorate.

People don't like $700 BILLION shoved down their throats or up their butts. Just how stupid do you think Americans are?

Get used to it.
