No. I'm going to try some dishes I've never attempted in my truck before. Difficult dishes, too.

Equal time rules because it is an election year.

What do you consider difficult?
Anything that requires specialized equipment that I don't have in the truck and have no intention of putting in the truck....

Curious.... Like an Easy Bake Oven?

Seriously, I camp a lot. The most versatile equipment I have is a 14" cast iron wok. It's a pan, it's a pot and with a cover it's a dutch oven. I can cook anything in it.

A 14 inch wok is too big to carry in the truck, but I could really use it. I'm going to do Chinese in the truck:

Pepper steak with onions
Steamed pork dumplings
Fried wontons
Rice

They have smaller woks. Pepper steak is my favorite, that and Crab Rangoon!

Orangetxguy 09-01-2008 03:41 PM

A kitchen sink would be nice!

Windwalker 09-01-2008 03:51 PM

That does it....

Time to bake some CHOCOLATE LAVA MUFFINS... :)

Rev.Vassago 09-01-2008 04:06 PM

Here is a cake I made in the truck last year in honor of a friend of mine, a very talented artist who goes by the name Meowza:

Just curious... Was the truck moving down the road when you did that???

That's just rude.

You try making a fully three dimensional cake in the sleeper of a truck using nothing but a plastic knife, and then you will have room to talk.

RebelDarlin 09-01-2008 04:15 PM

Did you airbrush the frosting in the background?

Windwalker 09-01-2008 04:16 PM

Sorry. I thought I was just asking a question. Had no idea I was going to strike a nerve.

Yes. Something I was trying for the first time.

I hate it because it is difficult to undo things.

It seemed rude because of what I am assuming you were implying by the question.

RebelDarlin 09-01-2008 04:26 PM

Takes a little practice. And depends a lot on the frosting you use, that determines how much it 'bleeds'. Was she impressed?

Rev.Vassago 09-01-2008 04:34 PM

Very much so.

RebelDarlin 09-01-2008 04:37 PM

That's all that matters.

RebelDarlin 09-05-2008 05:11 AM

How'd the Chinese turn out?

Haven't done it yet. Still haven't gotten around to fixing the generator, so all truck cooking is on hold.

Caddyshack.

NotSteve 09-05-2008 06:08 AM

Rev, YOU CANNOT PLAY ANY GAMES unless the others are given at least a full day!!!!!!!!!!

Rev.Vassago 09-05-2008 06:17 AM

It's not my fault I know everything. I'm like an idiot savant, minus the "savant" part.

NotSteve 09-05-2008 06:26 AM

There's one trick question in here.

I hate Illinois Nazis.

Why, I'm not a witch at all.

Guess what I am now?

4 fried chickens and a coke.

Gort, niktoe barabus clatoo

Play it again Sam.

I bring out feelings in others that they themselves don't know.

And then I wanna take off your bra....ah ah ah

Gort = The Day the Earth Stood Still
I bring out feelings = CARS
I wanna take off your bra = Cheech and Chong in police station over CB

Trick question was Casablanca. "Play it again Sam" was never said in the movie. He said, "You played it for her, play it for me"

I knew that sounded familiar. I should have known that. I have only seen the movie about a thousand times.

Never saw Cars or Cheech and Chong. I got the "play it again Sam" one right too, because that isn't the Casablanca you are thinking of. It is from the Marx Brothers movie "A Night in Casablanca", which was a parody of the Casablanca-type genre of movie.
