Dear Rev.Vassago:

Your wonderful n' all, but your avatar is truly disturbing. Wassup with that?! :)

i think a toddler version of pinhead is wonderful.

Never saw that movie..."Hellraiser".

It was a truly disturbing movie. Pinhead was one of those bad guys you loved to hate, but then felt sorry for when the whole story came out about him.

Pinhead is friggin awesome. I did a costume of him last Halloween. I'll be doing it again this October, when I go to a horror film convention. Doug Bradley, the guy who played him, will be there. WIN.

Nice. I can relate to the whole costume thing.

I did the Wicked Witch of the West one year and raked in about $400 in contest winnings.

Best costume I ever did was Robocop. Spent about 3 months on building it...it was totally wired for sound, lights, the whole nine yards. I used to do costumes big for contest winnings and I spared nothing on this one.

Turned out to be the greatest (and last) costume I ever made. Never even got into the contest I was shooting for...long story short, way back then I was working as an Area Manager for a major pizza chain. The store I was working in was robbed by a guy that got about $80 and a bruised hand when I slammed the drawer on this hand the first time.

2 weeks later, I was at the mall for the costume contest and the little punk that robbed me walked right in front of me...me, dressed like Robocop. Get the picture?

Eventually flagged down a cop doing shoplifting duty and was part of the arrest right there in the mall. Me, dressed as Robocop? Get the picture?

It turned out to be my 15 minutes of fame...got a front page story in the newspaper (I still have that), had the arrest announced over the PA system at the mall, where 10,000 people were congregating for the Halloween festivities and wanted their pictures with me, and got mentioned on David Letterman (they called me a couple days after it happened) in "imagine being the punk in this situation and having to go back to your homies and say 'man, I got busted by Robocop.'

Anyway, that's my 15 minutes of fame.

Rev, get some pics of your costume this year...I want to see it.

Here's what it looked like last year when I did it. I've made some modifications to the makeup and the costume, however. (pardon the dark picture - they all turned out fuzzy, so I messed with them in Photoshop)

This year, for the actual Halloween festivities, I'm going to be Hellboy. I've already finished the fully functional Right Hand of Doom, and most of the costume. Still have to work on the makeup, which is going to be tough.

Who the hell hasn't aided in the arrest of a felon while wearing a Robocop costume? You're real fifteen minutes of fame came during your "pants down" moment and you don't even realize it man. :P

Thats funny TF

Wow- ya'll go to great lengths for halloween don't ya? :)
